This option can be crucial to a successful program by helping you promote it within your church. By choosing this option, you will not have to worry about creating your own promotional materials, including design, writing of content, finding a printer, negotiating pricing, etc. We do all that for you. Our materials will be customized with your organization name and logo. The package includes the following options:

Licensing Options

• Insurance Rider – Use Christian Mentors insurance for your program instead of getting your own policy. This means that you will have to agree to our program rules and regulations rather than creating your own policy. These rules may include where matches can meet, whether or not they can ride in a car together, etc.

Renowned Parenting Course

A renowned, life-changing, and effective parenting course by Barbara D. Tooker, M.A., Accent On Parenting; Tools for Building 21st Century Kids, is offered to Christian Mentors at a discount. This independent study course, in both Spanish and English, covers The Parenting Process: Human Growth & Development, Communication, Decision-making, Self-Esteem, and Discipline and is a practical, common sense guide to strengthening family life. AOP can also be used by groups as a discussion guide. This course also meets the requirements of the California Welfare and Institutions Code for mandated attendees and includes a certificate of completion (upon 85% pass rate of open book test) for family reunification, mediation, co-parenting, divorce, incarceration, and child abuse. It has also been approved by the California Superior Court for any purposes related to decrees regarding parenting skills education courses, as well as the Riverside County Department of Social Services, Child Protective Services Division, after a two year peer review that included the California Department of Social Services.

Barbara has taught parenting classes for over 28 years. She is a professional speaker and trainer in the areas of parenting, education, and literacy. Her 17 years as a school board member have served to solidify her belief in building strong families and communities. A former teacher and librarian, and educational consultant, she co-founded the National Parenting Institute (TeachParents.com) in 1989. NPI is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping parents strengthen their family life, partner effectively with schools, and use techniques that build 21st century kids who are competent, caring, resilient, and successful.

Option 2: Independent study program with self-assessment = $30
